Green Light Limited was established in February 1996. Whilst it is London-based, it has a global footprint. The company was founded by Philip Baum, a veteran of the aviation security industry and outspoken advocate of the need to deploy a common sense-based approach to the resolve modern-day security dilemmas. He is frequently called upon to advise governments and industry, especially in respect of passenger risk analysis and in-flight security solutions. Philip is regularly invited to chair industry symposia and is a familiar face and quoted expert in the international news media. He is also the Editor of Aviation Security International, Visiting Professor Aviation Security at Coventry University and author of Violence in the Skies: a history of aircraft hijacking and bombing.
